Welcome to Beyond Dental Health! As our name suggests, our goal is to go beyond traditional dentistry and improve overall health and wellness. With this in mind, we’re excited to relaunch our blog with a renewed focus on whole-body health. Our aim is to help our patients make the connection between oral health and overall health to improve their quality of life and prevent unnecessary illness.
We believe that the mouth is the gateway to the body, and maintaining good oral health is critical to achieving overall health and well-being. At our offices, we emphasize the importance of good oral hygiene and preventive care, but we also recognize that a healthy body comes from more than just your mouth and teeth. That’s why we’re expanding our focus to key health areas that aren’t typically at the forefront in a dental office.
Poor oral health has been linked to serious health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. By taking care of our teeth and gums, we can help prevent these and other health problems. But we also want to do more. Our dental blog will focus on the integration between dentistry and healthcare and why dentistry is so important to whole-body health and vice versa. We’ll be sharing tips and information on how to maintain good oral health, the latest advances in dentistry, and how it all relates to overall health.
Our first topic for the quarter beginning in April will be nutrition, because we know that good nutrition is critical to maintaining good oral health and overall health. We’ll provide expert advice and delicious recipes that will help you eat for a healthy body.
Our ultimate goal is to help reduce rates of systemic disease in our community through a focus on the mouth-body connection. By creating awareness and providing information and best practices, we hope to prevent dental and other health problems from occurring in the first place. We want our patients to be healthy and to enjoy a high quality of life at all ages, free from pain and discomfort.
Thank you for choosing Beyond Dental Health. We look forward to helping you achieve and maintain a healthy smile and better overall health. Stay tuned for more updates, articles, expert tips, and more!
